FAQ

How do I get my treats?

We offer shipping and local pick up. You can choose a local pick up location when you check out. At this time our cakes & other specialty treats are for local pick up only.

What's the shelf life?

Generally speaking, hard biscuits and cookies will be good for 3-6 months. Hard, decorated cookies will be good for up to 1 month.

Soft treats, such as soft cookies, cakes, pies, brownies will be good for 3-5 days.

How should I store my treats?

All treats, both soft and hard, should be stored in an airtight container. Hard biscuits and cookies can be stored in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight. Refrigerating hard treats will extend the shelf life but will also soften the treats a bit. (Storm likes eating his biscuits straight from the freezer.)

All soft treats, such as soft cookies, cakes, brownies and pies, should be stored in the refrigerator.

Treats can be frozen for up to 3 months, with the exception of decorated cakes and cookies.

When should I order my treats or cake?

If you're ordering for a special event, please order at least 2 weeks in advance to be sure your order can be processed, baked, and delivered/picked up on time.

What is your processing time for each order?

Because each products is made to order, we like to have up to 5 days to completely process your order and then ship it or have it picked up. We need time process the orders coming, bake the orders, dry or decorate the orders, package everything, and get it out the door.

Will these treats be ok for my dog with food allergies or special diet requirements?

As much as we would like to say yes, we ask that you please consult your veterinarian first. We are not veterinarians or licensed pet nutritionists and would prefer you seek guidance from someone who knows your dog's needs. The ingredients for each product is listed on the product's page and on the package.

What ingredients do you use?

We use fresh, all natural ingredients such as raw honey, organic coconut oil, fresh fruits & vegetables, hand-shredded cheeses, fresh herbs when in-season, chia seeds, flaxseeds, gluten free flours, etc.

Are the food colorings in your treats safe for my dog?

Yes! We use vegetable based food colorings such as beet root powder, turmeric, green or blue spirulina, unsweetened carob power, etc. For this reason, colors tend to be less bright than you would see on a cake or cookie for humans.

Can humans eat your treats?

Yes! All of our products are made with human-grade ingredients that you would find in your own kitchen. There are no added sugars, however, so you probably won't enjoy them quite as much.

Bill's personal favorite biscuit is our Pumpkin Spice in the fall. Jo's is the Pina Colada in the summer. Storm doesn't discriminate. He likes ALL the treats!

What if my dog doesn't like the treats I purchased?

We understand that every dog has their own likes and dislikes, and some dogs can be more picky than others. Because we're a small business, we're unable to offer refunds for this situation.

My treats arrived broken. Can I return them?

We do everything we can to package our treats with materials to minimize breakage. Unfortunately, because we can't control what happens during the shipping process or how carriers handle our packages, we're unable to offer a refund in this situation.

Can I change my order after it's been placed?

Changes can only be made within the first 24 hours after placing your order. Please email us. After this time, no changes can be made.
